      i`ve acquired this pedal jeep, it as been painted hiding any trace of manufacturer, any help with this or age of it would be appreciated

      This appears to be a Canadian Thistle or UK Triang model Jeep, however the steering wheel and the wheels and tires are not original. Check out one of my earlier posting to see a photo of the one I have and compare it.

      This body I believe was made from 1947 up into the 1960's

      It looks like my Triang Jeep that I had in the UK as a child :0) I seem to remember mine having a white grill and white windscreen surround. (wheels look different though?) I'll see if I have any photos

      I just found another Jeep like yours on ebay. Apparently it was made in Italy by a company called TT and borrows significantly from Triang engineering

      Thank you shawimm it is the same, looked TT of Italy up and they were formed around the same time as Triang went bust.
