    Hello, my name is Lenny,
This the only big bottle that survied hurrican Katrina. I figured if it made it through that mess it was worth saving. I got this bottle from my dad years ago.
The glass is an ice tea in color. This bottle weighs about 5 lbs.
The bottle is fluted all the way around, not smooth.
Etched in on the bottom of it is,....Made in Czechoslovakia.
Etched on the front of the bottle is,..... Sparkling Soda
    Coca-Cola
    Bottling Co. Inc.
    Bryan, Texas
Stamped on the chrome spout is,..... Stephan Ice & Bottling Co.
I don't know much more about it then that. If anyone can help me out with this, I'd sure appricate all the help I can get.

      Lenny,
I am a collector of Texas seltzer bottles and Texas milk bottles so I can probably give you a better idea of its value if you can give me so idea of its condition. Most of the Texas seltzer bottles have values between $50 -$250 with the Dr. Pepper bottles having the most value. Not very many collectors of these seltzers since they are big and heavy. Most of them I see are just a by product of someones soda bottle collection. If you want more info email me at johnmau66@gmail.com.

Old Seltzer bottle. The bottles made in Czechoslovakia seem to be worth more money. I've seen some go for up to $200.00 at auction in excellent condition. (no staining, cracks or chips) No matter it is a nice collectible. Keep it in the family and the value will increase without a doubt.

      Lenny,
due to the age of your post, this may not be helpful. Your bottle is very nice in both shape and color. It is desireable for these reasons, plus the fact that it also has a brand name. It is vintage mid-1930's. Your bottle does seem to be genuine in every way. Unfortunately the market has been flooded with a number of fantasy seltzer bottles which has caused the market value for Coke and Dr Pepper seltzer bottles to drop. That is, there are bottles that have been falsely etched with brand names on un-labeled seltzer bottles and sold them as authentic. Since it is difficult for average collectors to discern the difference they avoid them. I have collected seltzer bottles exclusively for over 30 years. There is very little information for collectors about seltzer bottles. And, having accumulated info and pictures for many years and plan to publish something on seltzer bottles. I would like to include the photo you provided and give credit or acknowlegement of same. Thanks for posting. sodapop@htc.net.
