One of the most beautiful of all roll film stereo cameras (IMO) is the Stereo Hawkeye Model No.2 made by the Blair Camera Company. Blair made a variety of roll film stereo cameras from 1904 to 1907. Although Kodak acquired Blair in 1899, this is an early example without any of Kodak's markings that appear on Blair cameras after 1907 (when Blair was no longer operating independently of Kodak).

This early example has polished mahogany, bright nickel trim, brass shutter, and twin maroon leather bellows. The shutter itself is in finely finished lacquered brass. Elegantly shaped sweeping nickel arms connected to a central shutter speed adjustment dial gives the Stereo Hawkeye a distinctive look.
