Continuing with a theme of post-1900 folding stereo cameras, here is a Stereo Solograph made by the Anthony & Scovill Company of New York. The camera was offered from c.1902-07(?) and sold for about $30 in 1902.

Outwardly, it pretty much resembles the Blair and Kodak Brownie stereo cameras I posted; but the design is a bit larger and strictly for glass plates for photographers who preferred a larger pair of images than was available with roll film stereo cameras.

While not as nicely constructed as the Blair Hawkeye, it does have a polished mahogany interior, lacquered brass hardware, fine seal grain leather body cover, and red Russian leather bellows.

From a collecting point of view, the Stereo Solograph is quite scarce with only a couple examples in collections.

Sean ... doing well ... thanks for the 'love' and comment. I recently made two amazing camera acquisitions. At some point, they'll show up on CW.
