Part two of my mega pick today are this Nymolle "Garden Party" plate. It is really sweet, and I know a lot of folk on site have a few of these in their collections.
I also found a Dansk pan...paella pan!! Wish I knew that before I spent precious seconds searching for the dang lid.

Again, stay safe those in Sandy's path!!

V, that is a really interesting article. Guess it will take the shine off collecting these pieces. Now you can get the same ones...new. Or it will just dip for a while then the old ones will be worth loads...like Fiesta.

      Hi Amber!
      Everything old is ...
      Supply and demand.
It can also establish a new market and ..... actually inflate prices!

      Perhaps the marks are different?
Have not seem them here yet in Oz.
Perhaps someone on CW can tell us ......
Mind too that site "apartment therapy" has some wonderful new categories:
"Happy Modern", the clickety clack of "Eclectic Collector", "New Traditional", "Simply Chic", "Warm Industrial", "Organic Modern" & "Dramatic Modern" have me heading for the thrift stores!
"Eclectic prep." for the struggling student is a nice one here:

Haha, love those category terms :) Mmmm... it seems to me this Nick doesn't come from a "working class" family... I'd say he's been posh since he was a baby.

I don't know Austro, most of it looks like alley picks to me...except the dining room table. And before you start looking that up...
Leases in Chicago often start/stop Oct 1st or May 1st. On those days, you can walk through the alleys and pick up all kinds of household furniture etc that people don't want to move. I left a waterfall buffet once that wouldn't fit in my new place. All found goods are called "alley picks".

Geez! Just brewing mine as the hubby is sleeping in and have to grind beans.
Lets see...my son has therapy, then daughter gymnastics but I also have to go to an estate sale that is close because I didn't buy a Dansk cheese board and dreamt of it all night!
