Floris Meydam The Industriels ( 1961) emerald green 30 cm high diameter base 12 cm and top 5 cm.
In 1961 all Leerdamse designers ( S. Valkema,A.Copier F.Meydam,W.Heesen,G Thomassen and N.Zaludová)where asked to design a serie of modern vases for specific flowers. Finally a serie of 40 vases were made called: "The Industrialists'. They colors we conducted in zirkoonrood, emerald green and yellow helio also some where made in blue . The color yellow heliostats (solar yellow) was difficult to make. The first series was treated as waste by the factory and sold directly to employees of the factory. There were also several models in a light green color bottles made??.

very nice shape and it complements my old alsterfors vases very well ;-)
An amazingly simple shape! It's funny Andre Ricard designed a candle with the same shape :) [http://www.lacereriaonline.com/epages/62962631.sf/es_ES/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62962631/Products/STABILO] and there is a Spanish perfume bottle also with the same shape [http://www.todocoleccion.net/prime-minister-parera-bote-agua-colonia~x33544545] :)
