This twelve sided red amber bottle was dug in an late 1860's dump in Savannah. Hard to tell if it was pontiled. It is the only hole example that I have seen. I dug a piece of another one that was a light amber color.
I've seen sided bottles before but don't remember 1 that had the sides go all the way to the mouth. Interesting.
