This is a nice mounted image of a photographer with his camera.

The image dates from the early 20th century.

I am not that familiar with cameras, so I am not able to identify the model. Any information on the camera is appreciated.

This camera was easier to identify than the stereo you posted a while back. This is a No.4 Folding Kodak. The total run for No.4's was about 28,000 from 1907 to 1915. The F.P.K. Automatic Shutter more precisely dates the camera to 1907-08. Otherwise, it shot 4 x 5 inch images on 123 rollfilm. Price was $20. The good news is this camera is somewhat easy to find and typically sells in the $75 - $150 range. - Rob

Correction - it's a No.4 Folding Pocket Kodak; otherwise all the information I posted is still correct.

      Thanks for the help rob!

Good to know it is a Kodak. Based on the image itself, I was thinking before 1910, but the foldout style made me think the teens. Again, I appreciate your help.

NP, Scott ... pictures with cameras are cool ... and good judgement on the date. - Rob

"Photographers with camera" is a subject matter that I will buy "all day" when I can find them cheap!
