Camera was made by Welta in 1934.
The design of folding cameras is always attractive, taking photos with TLR cameras is so impressive, but when two of these figures come in one camera, we don't have any word to say :)
So far as I know there are only two other existing Folding TLR cameras: Pilot and Zeca-Flex, but my point Welta is the most beautiful and truly folding. If someone has a Welta Superfekta (a predecessor of the Perfekta) , he owns a real transformable camera because its back that can be turned for horizontal photos, while Perfekta can't.
Nice camera and photography. You're right about the rarity of folding TLR style models. And I know of one pre-1900 folding TLR; a stunningly beautiful wood and brass camera by Ross.
Thank rniederman, would you up the camera that you mentioned?
I have an image of the TLR, but the camera is owned by a collector in France. I am okay with e-mailing the picture directly to you but don't have permission to post openly. My e-mail address is on my website: http://www.antiquewoodcameras.com
Wow, you have an excellent website. Very impressive. All cameras on the website are your?
Yes ... cameras shown on the website are my collection.
