I've been collecting this shape of Rindskopf in a variety of decors for the past ten years. Recently I was very fortunate to purchase this rather uncommon example from a wonderful seller in the UK, to whom I must give credit for the excellent service, packing, and the great photos. Thanks Charlene!
The vase is 8.5" tall with a ground rim, in a pulled feather decor through a cream colored uranium glass base. Under UV light, the vase glows in a haunting green color. I wonder what percentage of the chemical composition of this glass is uranium? This thing must have set off the radiation detectors while going through customs! At any rate, it has become one of my absolute favorites and now occupies a place of honor in my cabinets.
Your collection is beautiful.
what a great collection
Fantastic collection! Wow, I'd love to find a vase like that first one. I've never come across anything like it.
Wow, I haven't looked back at this post in a long time... thank you everybody for the loves & comments!
