In a previous CW post I commented about how small wood & brass cameras have a certain 'cuteness' to them. By that definition, this c.1900 Shew Xit (James F. Shew, London) is extremely cute.
The camera is fully operational yet literally fits in the palm of your hand (it's that small), and makes 1-7/8 x 3 inch pictures on glass plates. It's also quite rare; only two examples of this format are known.
Although I sold this camera years ago, I thought the CW folks would enjoy seeing the 'cute' side of wood & brass cameras.

Thanks, Hardbrake! I don't own the camera any more, but if fresh glass plates were made, pictures can be taken.
