Theses are a series of magazines published in a section of the Philadelphia Inquirer first issue was dated Jan. 8, 1949. The last issue is in Feb. 1949. There are four magazines. These magazines have great black and white and color illustrations. Pictures of history with caption . They tell the history of our country from Columbus to the end of 1949. Pictures of every aspect of inventions , wars , sports, you name it . It's in these magazines. Up to their present time 1949. They are in perfect condition, for 61 year old magazines. What does anyone know about them or would anyone be interested in them ? Can anyone tell me ? I am only showing the covers. But inside are more beautiful pictures of our past. My Grandfather saved them and gave them to me when I was a kid for a history lesson.
If you do not want them, here is a thought. You could give them to a local elementary school or junior high school for their history department. You can even assign a nominal value and claim a tax deduction. If you want to go the extra mile, laminate the pages so they can be handled by children. (Maybe a local shop will donate that service to the school. I'm just saying...
