Recently acquired the Woodrow Wilson campaign poster, and have been trying to authenticate it. We have inspected the poster and there are no markings/stamps/dates/etc on it. The only text is what you see in the photos under President Wilson's photo. Obviously, if it is authentic, it would have been from the 1912 Presidential Election, since the poster states that he was still Governor of New Jersey at the time. We contacted the Woodrow Wilson Library, but they have no information on this poster and don't have one like it in their collection. It is in great shape, no tears or rips, just some faint fold marks. Any information anyone could offer would be awesome!
No question authentic. I have collected for over 40 years.
Worth about $100.
Thank you, Paul!! Any suggestions as to a site where I can list it for sale?
Ebay of Craigslist. Be sure to use the words Political Campaign in the listing.
Best,
paul
