Hi everyone I found these silver coins among several others today. It was from my fathers old collection that he gave to me awhile back. These were the most rare according to the mintage per year. I did not, however, take condition into consideration, as I do not collect coins, and know nothing about that. Going clockwise in the first picture I have:
"Liberty Standing Half Dollar 1929 D (i think!!!)
Liberty Standing Half Dollar 1946 S
Mercury Dime 1937 S
Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar 1953
Barber Quarter 1914 D"
Enjoy the Holiday!!!
god bless the fathers and grandfathers that left us their treasurers -- my grandfather would bring me a bright shinny silver dollar from vegas every time he came to visit -- still have them -- even more special as the years go by and the memories flood back
epson233, very true. Thanks for the story! mustangtony...I never realized , I guess to have a coin with a collectible value it has to be in GREAT condition. Thanks everyone for the loves.
interesting, thanks for the info mustangtony, and for looking at all my posts recently. Have a great week!
