For over 30 years, my wife has collected carved wooden Russian Santas, and they are becoming difficult to obtain these days. The detail in some of these is amazing. We're invaded each year during the holidays. Here is a small sampling of her collection.

Thanks, AnnaB! My wife knew a woman who used to bring these in directly from Russia. The "Santa connection" isn't around anymore and authentic artist Santas are somewhat difficult to find these days. We have a Russian museum here in Minneapolis and their art store has a good selection of hand-carved and signed Santas. Otherwise, my wife's collection is over 300 Santas!
