Bought this at a local Flea Market and just love it. I have looks at 100s of pictures of other platters and can not find one like this one. It is 16 inches wide and has a trade mark on the back but can not read it. It almost looks like two patterns one on top of another. I hope to show all of my collectibles, perhaps one a week would be a good goal. This is the best site I have found for people like me that have so many interests.
Hi beautiful ! Looks like a mark by WH Grindley & Co. England. Love it
Oh and welcome to CW the friendliest collectors site :-)

welcome to cw -- will look forward to more of your postings -- have a great week
Thanks for the information shared. Not sure if I should call it "Hampton Rimmed" or "Osborne" however I now know was made around 1900 by WH Grindley & Co. in England and shipped to North America. Will keep sharing on this site and Thanks.
What a FABULOUS platter :) I recently bought a Flow Blue saucer and mine is W.H. Grindley...recognized the mark.
Glad you like it, now I'm looking to see if I can find more and will try and post something else from my collection of stuff.

I bought a platter with this marking today. I am new to collecting. I paid $150.00 and it is a large oval. Any info would be appreciated.
