1898 Lansing High School Yearbook; Lansing, MI

This is an 1898 copy of the Lansing High School yearbook. This was before there were three Lansing High Schools. Today there are Sexton, Eastern & Everett High Schools, back then there was only one.
The name of the Lansing High School yearbooks was "Oracle," today Sexton High School keeps that name for their yearbooks. The last photo above shows the senior class of 1898 on the steps of the high school.
One of the coolest parts of this yearbook is under the Board of Education, the treasurer is R.E. Olds, founder of REO Motors. REO Motor Car Co. was founded in 1905, so this was before he was known to the public as the "car guy."
