The first post for this year and I'm putting forward a vase that I've had now for the last six months. It came from one of my favourite haunts. It was a wedding gift to the store manager in the sixties or seventies; or so I was told.It retains the original sticker and looks like it has never been used. It looks like it went into the cupboard and had only rarely seen daylight.
Fortunately a new CW contributor has some first hand knowledge of these pieces.
So here is yet another one for Nils to comment on, if he would kindly do so.
It is marked clearly on the bottom B932 C 216.
What really attracted me to this piece is the engraving. I have a particular thing for engraved fish. Here we have two very cute Angel fish among some weed. The engraving is more easily photographed from the rear, I found.
The shape of the vase is oval and has the beautifully angled engraved rim that I associate with Asta Strömberg.
From what I have recently learnt the C 216 refers to a pattern for this design. I suppose my questions to Nils will be:
Is B932 an Asta design?
Were the fish C 216 designed by Asta, too?
It is a really tall and elegant form.
H: 27 cm or 10.6"
W: 10 cm or 3.93"
Happy New Year V! Lovely. Love the fishes. Healthy and Happy tidings babe.

Many thanks Alfredo, inky, austro, epson233, brat, lass and ozmarty too!
You're right austro your "två små scalarer" are done quite differently. Even the algae here are more linear where on your piece the treatment is more triangular or is it a boomerang shape?
Many thanks Sean! Hope you have a good day and are feeling better!
B932: I think it is Asta Stromberg design. Not typical Nulund as I see?
C216: I'm quite sure it is a pattern by Gerda Stromberg. This pattern in an older catalog that I believe have products exclusively designed by Gerda Stromberg, and the last pattern in that catalog has number C304.
Many thanks musikchoo, Phil and to you too rebessin!
