One Sunday morning my wife and I were checking out the yard sales in our local area. We spotted a box sitting on top of a table with Jewel Tea Autumn Leaf pattern dishes made by Hall China Co. As it turn out there was more boxes under the table and we counted about 100 pieces total. There was dinner plates, coffee pot, bowls, cups, water pitcher, etc all for $75.00. I can remember my best friend's dad had worked for Jewel Tea Co as a route saleman in the 1950's.
These are the dishes my Mom set our everyday table with while growing up. Sure does bring back some memories, there seems to be a growing market for these on ebay, Nice Pick.

YardSalesDave, This is the kind of picks we all like to have. In most cases I come up with nothing like this for a all day yard and garage sales venture.
I have a few pieces myself.
Wish it was me who found the set . I have been collecting for 27 yrs . I still dont have a full set of 12. Lucky you ..
Thanks Lori it was one of those finds that doesn't happen very often.
My grandmother started collecting when I was born with single bowl that belonged to her grandmother (the banana pudding bowl). Between her and I we have a full 12 piece set, plus many other pieces. In all I have about 400 pieces in all. Congrats on your find!
Thanks you Stacy
