It is NOT an ice pick. It does not pinch.
It closes...
Only other thing I could guess is logging tool.
no way to tell how big or small it is so it could be about anything
Really neat looking tool. My Mother in law would say she could remove my brain with this.
See the little piece of paper at the bottom with writing on it? It's a smaller tool like a retractable caliper
It's so detailed it could be a clockmakers caliper tool
It from a crosscut saw /it holds the log in place. has a handle you pump to move saw.
This popped up on another forum and has been identified as the clamp for a log saw.
