cocacolaki…
(132 items)
Been a while since I last posted here. I've been neglecting Collector's Weekly for the longest time, mostly because I've been very busy with various things, but I guess I made my New Year's resolution to post more, and post more I shall.
I've been on the road in the south for the past couple days, and my family and I stopped at a antique mall/ flea market to meet up with some relatives. Mostly everything was overpriced in the antique mall (they wanted $300 for a completely rusted 1970's Coca-Cola sign), but the flea market had some good prices listed. I found this little rough diamond in a case full of old ACL soda bottles. This bottle is really cool how it's imitating the diamond label found on some original straight sided bottles, and the unique script and how the tail of the "C" dips under "Cola" . It's got a couple of boo-boo's, but it's overall a nice amber straight side. Makes me think how an Ohio bottle ended up in Alabama...
I apologize for the photo quality. I was taking them in low light with my phone so they didn't end up well.
Great bottle and fabulous to see you post again, cckid. Cheers!
Welcome back CCK! Been very busy around here too, since you've been gone.
