This Steuben vase (attributed) was a nice antique show find over 25 years ago. It's elegant shape with contrasting black glass threading at the top made it attractive.

properly attributed too. it might even be signed and you just haven't seen it yet. Sometimes the Steuben acid signature can be a bitch to find. But so far I've found it on all my pieces that I thought weren't marked. you need a super bright day and some patience or a super bright light. look all over the base at different angles. I bet you find it.
Thanks, Sean!!!
Greatsnowyowl ... awesome! I put the vase up to a really strong light source and after a lot of playing and squinting, the Steuben mark showed up. It's a small ribbon in a fleur-de-lis located in the center of the ground, polished pontil. After all these years ... many thanks.
Posted an image of the Steuben acid etched marking ... thanks Greatsnowyowl for the tip on finding the mark. It helps that I own a macro lens. :)
good job Rniederman! as I said it never fails. Steuben marks are a bear to find. :)
Thanks, Londonloetzlearner!

Another beauty, rob. I must have been on CW break when you posted all of your wonderful glass and artwork. I thought that you were a "camera guy". Like me, it appears you have a lot of antique/ collectibles areas on interest.

Thanks, Scott! I am a camera guy, but the glass is acquired jointly with my wife (along with other goodies). We don't have a lot of glass, but you might want to check out the Erickson vase:
