I purchased this stove from a woman who the stove belonged to her great grandfather and it was in his work shop in Pa. The stove at some point was taken to Co. She and husband had the stove completely refurbished and I purchased it in 02/2012 in mint condition. Would love to know the age of the stove. Not sure of the value purchased it for what I consider a reasonable price. If any one can date this stove would love to know.

and so you should -- she is a beauty and the restorer did a wonderful job per your pics

this is what i found out for value -- when i googled -- radiant home stove no 116

Dec 31, 2012 – Parlor Stove RADIANT AIR BLAST NO 116 - $2000 (San Fernando) ... franklin furniture classic decorative decorate home lawn antique art deco ...

found this info on a 6K on this website

      nepacrossroads.com/about22724.html

I have seen these go for around $8,000 restored. This is a nice one because the side shades are rarer. Decor in background does fairly match the period....1880's....without getting too technical.

I'm not sure if it is an air blast. How can I determine this?

below is a website that should answer your question -- there are about 6 pages from greg where they go into restoration and the function of the radiant air or hot air blast on these stoves
      http://nepacrossroads.com/about20920-30.html

also if on ebay -- place item number 220821966730 in the search cell

appears these styles of stoves were all radiant or air blast pending on who made them what terminology they chose -- either radiant or air blast

      happy reading
