I would like to know what era is this camera is from. I would like to get rid of it but don't know how.

This really looks more like a photographic enlarger as opposed to a camera. You don't mention a name, but it could be from the 1960s ... but I'm unsure. What's interesting about this particular enlarger is that it is portable (folds into it's own traveling case). Yet overall, enlargers don't have much of a collector following. For example, I literally gave away a Beseler 45MCRX enlarger a couple months ago ... then again, I kept the lenses. I also see what looks like trays next to the enlarger; which makes sense. After a negative is enlarged onto paper, the paper is moved through a series of trays with chemistry.
I agree, looks like an enlarger with a nice built in cropping easel. I think that someone who wants their own home darkroom but lacks the space for a regular enlarger might be interested if it were fully functional.
