Hello Again!,
I've had this for a while and often find myself admiring it, sticking out of a cup next to the computer.
I find it handsome and would like to know for what particular use it was made.
Any ideas?
Thanks Friends!
Tony.
Thank You Kevin and Tony,
and Tony, thanks for all of the great information, much appreciated!
Thanks for the love miKKo!
I have a similar "tea strainer" with the acorn handle held on by one rivit and has a smooth handle. I know it is very old as it was my great aunts. She passed it to me when she was 82 years old and that was 28 years ago. I am trying to find out the value. If you have any ideas please let me know.
On the back of the handle it says nf silver co 1877
Oops i got it 32 years ago.
I use it to strain my vegetables :)
Hello Joy, Thanks for the notes, it was interesting to hear about your strainer, and how you got it.
If I find out the value I'll be sure to be in touch.
Best wishes to you and thank for taking a look,
Tony
