I got this ash tray from my cousin that he recieved in a trade. He nor do I know nothing about it other than it is very pretty. It has fired gold around the figures with raised dots and the rim around the edge and the cigarette holder appears to be brass. The back has markings of crossed arrows with the numbers 66/195. If you have any information that will help please let me know.
Thank You,
Lynda
I don't know if you noticed but this piece is signed just below the skirt in the center. I cannot make it out but you may with a loop. Also the number on the back is 44/195 not 66/195.
The crossed arrows are from a Japanese firm ARNART. Go to ebay. enter "vintage arnart ashtray". When that comes up, click "advanced" next to the search button. Scroll down and click on "completed listings". Hit "search" again. There is an ashtray very similar to yours. Even compare the artists signature.
Many of the current items have the crossed arrows. The completed item has a foil sticker instead.
