Ahhh ... this is a good watch and considered a "collector's watch." It's a Weem's pilot's watch with a rotating center dial (as opposed to the model with a rotating bezel). The concept was for the adjustable inner dial to enable pilots to synchronize with a time signal (standard time).
The original submission for patent was 1929 and the patent was finally awarded in 1935. The watch name is from Commander Philip van Horn Weems, an instructor at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. Longines has reissued this bit of history under the name of "Weems Second-Setting Watch." I am unsure of the value but it looks like your watch is missing the second winding crown and has several condition problems.
Turns out I had it appraised and they said I could sell it at auction for $25,000.
It's not missing a second winding crown. That model was different.
1034. It also has Japanese markings on back which may increase value if it belonged to Japanese Airforce. I am having an Antique Watch company clean it up and restore it to excellent condition. There is no corrosion on the case. , just tarnish because it's silver. I might have a home run.
I like it. Cool Antique.
