    Wish I new the maker of this 3" diameter 2" tall pretty paperweight. Weight is 13.8 oz and in lovely condition.

      It appears to be an older weight. Very nice. You might try the glassmessage.com boards if no one else responds here. I think they have a lot of serious paperweight collectors there. My knowledge on paperweights is pretty much tapped out on the polished vs ground base chestnut :)

      Its Italian, a nice one. Look for a signature cane, in the middle there might be a cane with an animal or a letter

      I don't know much at all about paperweights but I would say that is possibly an Ysart weight. I don't think it's Italian.
      You would do well to get it checked out on the Paperweight section of the Glass Message Board :)

      Definitely an old Ysart, I see some canes in there which are common to be his work, specifically the red-cased-green flowers.
