Hi, I have being trying to figure this one out for awhile. Budek posted a vase just like it so I am getting closer. I was almost positive it was tanware by John Vickers & Son but not sure now. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Michelle

Thanks Bellin, I have been searching far and wide for quite awhile on this and when I saw the vase Budek posted I got so excited. Finally something with the artist at least.

WOW! Michelle, I can't believe the likeness, certainly the same maker. I'm more intrigued than ever.
Vetraio had a thought to turn the signature a certain way,....that maybe it was Japanese. You signature looks almost Hebrew to me, and there's a blue/white Israeli pottery, ( LAPID ), that it suddenly is reminscent of,( if you look it up you'll see what I mean,...color and glazes and degree of finish are all wrong though ). God I'm really curious now!, you've lit a fire. Let's stay in touch. THANK YOU for the food for thought!
      Best Regards and Good Luck,
      Tony.

Have you checked out Pennsylvania Tanware? If you google there is a essay by Dave & Susan Swala. Give it a read. I also know that they used clovers on (tulips were very big) there art work. We will keep in touch and hopefully get our answers. Oh by the way did you buy about 10 years ago or did you just get it from somewhere?

      Hello Michelle,
Thanks, I'll take a look at Pennsylvania Tanware and give the essay a read.
I believe that I bought this either at a church thrift or at an estate sale.
Good hearing from you, hopefully we'll have good news to share.
      Take Care,
and have a great week-end, Tony
