Are you absolutely certain that this is an Ansonia clock?

Yes, will add a photo of inside.

That's definitely an Ansonia Movement. I've looked through my references several times and while I found similar designs, I didn't find this model. I don't recall seeing that style of minute and hour hands on an Ansonia Clock before, but this is definitely in the ornate style of Ansonia. Probably just an unlisted model. The models that were the most similar to your heirloom were from circa 1904-6. Somewhere in there give or take 5 years, so that would be my best guess. Sorry I couldn't be more definitive. It's a very lovely clock.

Thanks for taking the time to look. I have been looking at a few similar designs. Someone told me it was similar to a French column clock.

You're welcome. It definitely has an Ansonia "Style" to it. The hand style bothers me a little and I've only known Ansonia to make black marble, green and white onyx, but my references are by no means complete. Regards.

Did you ever find out which model this was? I have an almost identical one but it's black.
