This is an Irish decanter most likely made by B.Edwards of Belfast circa. 1780. This is piece isn't marked the two bladed neck rings and tapered shape of the decanter, are the signature of decanters made by B.Edwards of Belfast at this period. This also has the classic Irish cutting of wheat husks and scales. It has a mould blown base, as many Irish decanter of the period had. It has lozenge stopper.

I bought this at an antiques fair in London nearly 20 years ago and paid £70 for it. I thought it was a bargain then and still do now.

The bladed neck rings are cut?
      Wonderful!

No, they are not cut they just shape hot glass into blade after applying the ring.
