Timothy Dixon became one of the leading rock poster artists of the 1960s and 1970s, creating posters that featured major artists of the day like Janis Joplin, Steppenwolf and the Jefferson Airplane. He gradually moved into oil painting and other media, and his award-winning work is included in private and corporate collections around the world. Two of his works can be seen at Agilent Technologies in Santa Rosa, and a large mural is on view at Napa’s Queen of the Valley Medical Center. WOW He lives now in Glen Ellen, I lived there years ago and worked at State Hospital there. He has a gallery there now. I called him on the phone, we know a lot of the same people! (we should Glen Ellen is only maybe 600 people) Jack London's Wolf House and ranch is there. He has some beautiful wine scenery paintings, I saw on internet, I will visit his gallery sometime, he was surprised I got painting at thrift store! It is from 1987, says 18 pounder! (fish weight) The man he painted it for must have died because he paid Timothy $750! for it and I paid $10!! We talked quite a while and I emailed photo of it and other photos of painting from people he knows! He said his wild days are over! I said Mine too! Very good man! His work is a great investment! His rock flyers, are worth a lot!!! Thanks for looking! OH anyone know the fisherman??? haha

I was attracted to it because in the 70's and 80's I steelhead fished (from shore with waders) drift boats and guides are expensive and not my style. When I saw artist name, I remembered him as he is No. Ca. and bought it!

Remember these posters. I am an old hippie and had posters all over the place with black light of course!
