This is a miniature Rodney decanter, circa.1820. It has strawberry cut hobnails to the body, step shoulders and step cut stopper. Is it only 5 inches high. A Rodney decanter is named after Admiral Rodney, and is like a ships decanter but instead of coming to an edge it curves down.
Thanks for the Rodney. Those step cut stoppers are really nice, fussy, but very tactile.
