Fairy Lamps - Few know what they are and even fewer collect them. If you want to know more, simply visit my Club's website.
I have been collecting fairy lamps for over 40 years. These four images are simply to give you a flavor for what they are and the seemingly infinite variety of designs and glass types.
Enjoy,
Jim
Jim, thanks for sharing, great collection.
are you selling? i collect fenton fairy lamps and i have around 200 now and im always looking for more. let me know thanks
There are many Fenton fairy lamp collectors in our Club, however, I am not one of them. You will find a comprehensive (albeit a bit out of date) list of Fenton's fairy lamps on our website, http://www.fairylampclub.com. In addition, our Fairy Lamp Forum, http://www.fairylampforum.com, is good place to get in touch with other Fenton fairy lamp collectors. Jim.
Such a beautiful collection! Wish I had gotten into fairy lamp collecting years ago.
Interesting that you pick up on that one. The design is some kind of "transfer" design. It is not painted by hand. I have a few others using this design transfer technique and will post them for you.
What a fabulous collection. You make them look common but I've never once come across one.
