I inherited this pocket watch after my grandfather died. I don't know where he got it or if it was passed down through the family. All I know is what is written inside the watch:

On the case: Warranted 18 Carat Fine 584
On the case that covers the watch mechanism (pic 2): Les Reymond, Locle, straight line lever, No 46584.

The hand that goes in the little dial is not in the watch, the glass was loose when I got it and the hand was just floating around in there. I put the hand up for safe keeping and haven't done anything with this watch since. I Have no idea when or where this watch was made. I THINK it was made in Locle, Switzerland.

Thanks for any info. Wish I would capture the detail of the case, but it's not gonna happen with my cellphone camera!

Some thoughts...I don't say this meanly, I say this from experience because I cannot take a decent picture of jewelry. The pictures are no help in identifying the watch other that let us know that it is yellow gold. Your description is good. You might find some answers on this site...

Put new pictures up. It was hard to get pics of this. If the light was too bright then it reflected and messed up the picture, so I had to use a low light.

I set camera for close up. Then set No flash. And then shoot pic.I know sometimes if item is shinny its hard to get a good pic.

I recieved a size 6 (about an one and a hald inches across) pocket watch a few years ago. its silver but inside it says A. Landry Locle Patent Stemwinder. No one has ever been able to tell me anything about the watch, but at least there's more than one of us with a Locle watch. Hope it helps. BTW my watch is also in a similar hunters case but the mechanics of the watch are completely different.
