I found this gold tone pin in the box of junk. I initially thought it was a fire department pin. However, upon closer inspection I read the words:
"THE US - VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS"
Now..I have seen ones like this on the web, but none with the numbers 82 real big like mine. Does anyone know what this mean? Was it given out in 1982? Thanks!!!
Probably 82nd Airborne.
I'd say it is from 1982. If it represented the 82nd ABN, I'd expect to see something more representative of the Division.
