I grabbed this set of 3 salt cellars, one holds the spoon while the other two don't have a lid or spoon. The spoon is not original so if your wondering it did not come with it i actually bought it at a completely different antique store, it is a sterling spoon and i think its from Ireland, England or maybe even Dutch or Germany? I'm able to identify the Anchor hallmark and the Lion hallmark but i'm not to sure what the one in the middle is, by the way it is marked Sterling off to the left of the hallmarks. It almost looks like a ships steering wheel, but I've looked up hallmarks and found nothing like a boats steering wheel. Any input would be much appreciated and i know we've got alot of people on CW that know quite a bit about hallmarks and maybe someone could shed some light if possible. Thank you and have a great day!

Poop as soon as i get home ill hit the books and try to help I'm on my iPhone now but it looks great! Looks English from here!

I actually don't think it is English. If it says "STERLING", then it is probably American. If it is American, could it be P.W. Ellis?

Scroll down to see their Hallmarks here:

Maybe pw ellis but it dosent seem to match up exactly but ill have to recheck the other 2 and see if the hallmarks are clearer

poop do you intend on polishing this? I love the combo shiny silver and cobalt glass! It is my favorite combo. In fact, I do have any pieces in that combo, maybe I should try to find something!!!!

Honestly im probably just goin to keep it original, i like the luster :) and its i didnt even know it was a canadian manafacture until i looked it up and i would deffinetly look into glass cellars, i seen one at an antique store from 1780-1790 and instead of the blue cobalt liners with sterling it has cranberry colored glass liners, very beautiful and very collectible items!! Thanks again for the input and kindness!!
