    My niece's mother found this sealed bottle of Mount Vernon Pure Rye Whiskey in a garage located in Lillian, AL. We have never seen anything like this and were wanting to find out as much as possible.

      There should be a date on the tax stamp.

      It's from the prohibition era... hence the "medicinal use" label. Had to be prescribed by a doctor in those days... unless you had some shady friends!
