This is an 1890s cabinet card that shows the owners and employees of Habermann Hardware Store in Chicago, IL.
The windows show a large selection of locks on sale and knives/ scissors (photo #3). Additionally, there is a small washing machine up front in photo #4 (could be a parts bin, but it does appear to have a handle).
Reflecting in the windows is a reverse sign for a "Law Office" across the street.
These 19th century street scenes are a very popular collecting field.

I love these photo's from this era, there is so much to see, from the clothing worn, items being sold to the architecture of the buildings.
It certainly looks like a washing machine out front & I would love those pendant lights that are visible in the window.
