Made in china, you can see that on the label. Around the last 30 yrs, not to old. They are nice but value is little, I get these at sales for less than 10.00 each. Dave

I found a few of these, they are actually made in Japan, the mark is just something they put on it to make it look like it is a high end piece. This was common in the last 40 yrs or so. I went downstairs and looked at few I had and I actually have one with same marks. Dave

Thank you for taken the time to write. I have look with an eye glass on the paper sticker and states. Hand painted, bone china. I also have look for the Japan markings and can not find the marking on ceramics from Japan. Again thank you. Mac

I found a forum that had this mark. They say as Dave did how old it is, and where it's from. This mark was used on imports from Japan in the 50's and 60's, making it very hard to know the maker.

Dear: Vestaswind. Can you tell-me the name of the forum on the internet, so I can researched. Thank you for taken the time to write. Mac

Inted of researching the mark I have research the paper sticker and "FOUNDED". The Paper sticker states the following. Hand painted, Lenwile china, (double) "AA", Ardalt Japan. These pieces were created in 1940's by a company in New York City named "Aldat INC". they were all made in Japan. I hope this helps is any-one of you have a piece with the same markings.

Dear: Savoychina1. These figurines are not a Camille Naudot . The Camille Naudot Markings are , "C A" incise in the mold. Please read my comments about the markings that I written about 2 hours-ago. I found the marking by researching the paper stickers. Thank you for all your communications. Sincerely Mac

Mac: note that I listed the ebay MIS-IDENTIFICATION
    13. Savoychina1 Savoychina1, 14 years ago
GUIDE so you would be aware it is not CM. According to the guide CM did not use the impressed CM shown on the listed piece and referes to the fact that many guides are not aware of this.

You have benefit of the paper label that we cannot decipher and you did a good job concluding what the ebay article said. What would you have concluded had there been no paper label ? (That is what many people run into!) We appreciate the challenge, find us another!

I'm continue doing research on both markings. What I find is that the markings with the conjoined letters "CN" in red are from the Aldalt INC company in New York 1940's done in Japan. The markings for Camille Naudot France are very confusing as this company is obscure, the glaze on their items is like Matte glaze similar to bisque, also I have seen pieces with the "CN" incise or reased on the mold. also one of the comments is that this company in France did not made figurines?. mac

Camille Naudot's work is in museums. He did not make figurines! His style is soft-paste, like Sevres. The quality of his work is far superior than all of those millions of marked NC made in Japan ceramics/porcelain items.

Dear; Dizzydave. your are right, about Camille Naudot's work . But I need to state that I have misspell the company name on the sticker of these figurines. The Name should be "ARDALT" INC. Thank you for taken the time to write. Do you have a site in the internet were I can see the real markings of Camille Naudot. Mac
