I have my doubts or it could be the lighting. The carvings look pretty new and mediocre to me.

I <3 them! chopstick rests. fish are very lucky and yours are jade which makes them even luckier...I would keep them in my pocket or purse for good luck and thank you for sharing...you have a very nice grandma.
