This is an update to an earlier post;
http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/41773-hartlip-kent-church-photo
Since posting the original photo last year, I have been in contact with the Clergy & historian of the St Micheal & All Angels Church in Hartlip.
Former CW member & friend Amy (AKA Scandi) & her husband went to Hartlip & took photo's & videotaped a service for my mother.
The first photo is a photo of the pipe organ, it was hard to get a good photo of it as it sits in a side alcove behind some pews.
Second photo view of the church from the outside.
The third photo is the inner entrance door with it's beautiful wrought iron hinges & impressive stone arch.
The church has six bells the oldest bell, number 5, was cast by Robert Burford between 1392 and circa 1418.
The church registers go back to 1538.
A big thank you goes out to former CW member Scandi for helping me update this post.
Here is a link to the other post so you don't have to copy & paste;
