My own experience with the marquetry pieces (by Kralik) is that they are usually pretty big in size, heavy with layers of glass and impossible to find. As with all bohemian glass there are exceptions to every rule, here are a few patterns (rules) to modify. Please enlarge photos by clicking on them.

    1. They are expensive:
Yes they were...almost 3K for the most expensive but $150 I paid for one from Canada.

    2. They were primarily exported to the US:
Not true, they were very popular all over the world, vases have cropped up in Germany, France, Argentina, Columbia, Florida, Canada, Australia and South Africa

    3. There are only two colors of flowers:
Variations of two colors, like hot candy the colors may change from yellow to orange to red or even purple

    4. They were made by Kralik:
There may be two or more makers of these vases because of the production techniques, shapes and glass products used

    5. They all have three flowers:
Not so, some have a cluster of the flowers (on one side); Some have two flowers and even rarer the one flower variety

    6. They are all 11"-14" tall:
Nope, some are even as short as 6 1/2" tall (first vase here)

    7. All are opaque satin finished:
They can come in any finish or base, including flashed, iridescent, glossy or transparent base.

      Hi Jericho
Similarities to the Bamboo decor ... .?
Reminds me of Frangipani from the flowers and stems ...
      Cheers

It is the bambus decor at the stem although deferent, much looser and wilder, I think because the pinched glass took longer for the petals so the bambus was rushed and not neatly formed, if you look at #1 or 2 in this series you can see two variations in the stem, marbled stem and no stem at all
