These are FANTASTIC! As with most designs created during the Third Reich, they are strong, powerful, and very graphic! True works of art, even down to their military notes! Excellent find!

These notes were for use by the German military in occupied territories only. To control black market activities the notes were "secretly" worth ten times face value when used by the military but if in civilian hands were only worth face value. As far as I know the Gestapo (Secret State Police) never issued or used their own banknotes but I am sure they would have been able to use these notes if they were on assignment in the right places at the right time.
