This bitters type of bottle was found under a house in downtown Savannah. The house was built in the 1880's. Just think a bottle like this was thrown into an empty lot and then a few years later a house was built on top of the lot. The ground was not cleared off and what was left behind stayed there under that house. It is like time stood still under this old house. A lot of old houses here in Savannah that are built on brick structured pillar columns. You can find a lot of cool stuff under old houses. It is a lot of hard work and there are a lot of obstacles that you will encounter a long the way.
