I cannot find even a picture of one similar to this. I have asked and searched ebay/google and asked others on Mikes FB. I was told 20 years ago by the old body man who used to work for my dad that gave it to us,that it was some kind of an oil can , but no residue whatsoever. No markings either except for "30" on the top bank ,no lid either,it has fine threads for the lid to screw into. No Mfg.Marks @ all.
It is more than 5 gallons. I would not have thought that any kind of milk storage cans would be galvanized ,may be wrong there though.
If You Want To Check it out click lins below. My Pics will not show from my phone.will take different ones tomorrow.

My thought is that it would be an oil drum too. But I'm not an expert it just appears that way for the body structure and funnel top. Whatever it is, I love it! I have a real affection for things made of galvanized steel.
Chapeldreamer,Thanks for your comments & interest. I sure hope that someone will see it and be able to "enlighten" me as to where and what this would have been used for. I'd certainly like to know value , ,but more than this I want to know what it "is" now it is Just Bugging Me . :- /
Help Me To Figure Out What This Can Was Used For And an Idea of Who Mfg'd.it .PLEASE
i believe it is a milk can
could the 30 refer to liters? I'm not sure that it is a milk can as they usually have a wide lid so that you can pour into them from a pail.
