I was doing quite a bit of research last night on this particular basket piece – it made me cry as I learned the fate of Indiana glass company (and why not since I have been involved with company employees vs the unions most of my life and still am a strong spokes person) –
I had purchased a box in 2012 on green glassware that I was hoping was uranium over in portland Oregon – yes I now carry a uv blacklight and since I have been able to know many of the auction houses – I can now be excused to go to a dark areas and do the test – you have taught me well cw members and I pass the information learned to all that need help on their items with the website found in this posting
In 1970, Tiara Exclusives was formed. Indiana Glass produced glass for Tiara primarily using old moulds. Tiara items were sold through home parties. Tiara items were produced from about 1970 to 1998. Indiana Glass founded Tiara Exclusives in 1970 and produced the majority of the glass sold through Tiara. Some of the patterns Indiana Glass produced for Tiara include Art Deco, Sweet Pear, Constellation, Crown, Dewdrop, Empress, Honey Boxes, Jolly Mountaineer, Lord's Supper, Monarch, Ponderosa, Sandwich and many more. NOTE: MOST ITEMS ARE REPRODUCTIONS (Except for Ponderosa Pine

This basket is known as a tiara sandwich pattern – so let’s cut to the chase – this basket was done in chanitilly green/original mould by Indiana glass called the early American pattern – tiara was not a glass manf – but a glass seller and I learned many of my pieces are from tiara and that was another interesting piece of info – the lord’s supper was sold to churches to raise funds

So I will give you the websites and you can learn if you perhaps have a piece of tiara that was sold during the home selling – tiara sold just as Tupperware, avon, etc etc

what I found most interesting is my basket was made my Darrel Appleton probably in the 1982 to 1992 and here is some more sites on that proof
