My great-aunt got this little ring from an admirer around the 1910-1920's. I am not too sure about the story because when she gave it to me she was married - but not to her admirer:)
The ring is marked 585k, has two small pearls and two rubies. I lost one of the rubies and had it replaced. After that I never really wear it anymore. After looking at the photos I noticed that the colour of the rubies is different. One cannot tell by looking at the ring at normal lighting.
Thanks for looking :)
This is really great! I think admirers should bring out the jewelry!
Agree. Memories and jewelry are, if not for ever, for a very long time. And a piece of jewelry is so nice to look at and to remember and reminiscing. One more advantage is that you can put jewelry in a box and forget it for a while. It's harder with memories.
Thanks a lot Agram.m, AmberRose, vetraio50, Newtimes, mustangtomy, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris, BELLIN68, and Moonstonelover21 :)
