It is pieces like this that make me want to know more about older pottery! Something draws me to little things, so naturally I had to get this little glazed dish, 2 inches across and just over an inch high. Anyone know what style you'd call this? Or have any idea why it has an English city name (Cheltenham?) on it, or what that upper case S means?
thank you for the love everyone : )
I was watching a show the other day, and an inkwell was being used that looked a lot like this thing! Is it possible thats what it is for? I assumed it'd have been a sauce holder or something. Any way to tell these sort of things??
