      What is the width?
    2. walksoftly walksoftly, 12 years ago
Could we see a picture from the axle side & what the diameter of the axle would be?
I'm thinking they are to light for a car.

Found a catalogue online for the company.
      "January 1907."
Catalogue of belting, hose, packing, mechanical rubber goods, pneumatic, cycle and solid rubber carriage tires

I updated the site with more detail

      You're most welcome j-h.
In the catalogue from the above link, the largest solid rubber tire they made in 1907 was 2" & the rim would be a bit wider so that fits your 2.25" width.
These must have been off of a two wheeled cart, they would be to light for an automobile.
      Where did you find them?

I found these in a salvage store hear in Ontario.
Which the owner of the store acquired them off a guy that said they might be off a white's auto and also he worked with a lot of steam driven machines.

I didn't even know White made a car let alone a steam car, always learning something new on here.
I think I'll have to give up the search on this, I've been unable to find an image of a car with this light of a wheel.
The ones on the White cars are not the same on the few pictures that I saw.
